At iSaahasi Academy, we are eager to move away from the robotic monotony of memorisation and standardized testing. We have created a holistic approach to education for adult returning learners instead. More than absorbing facts, we want to equip our students with the ability to interrogate a fact, to consider it critically, to imagine the context, to debate the utility, to scrounge for their own facts, and to learn to defend and complicate their knowledge. These are life long skills that teach resilience and nuance, prepare our students for versatile professional, social, and real-world challenges, and surpass the momentary purpose of cramming for a test. We respect our students’ time; we want their efforts to beget true competence, confidence, critical thinking, and long-lasting tools.
